„Take a good look at him. He is a man on the eve of celebrity.” That’s what the impresario Serge Diaghilev told Tamara Karsavina, dancing the title role in a ballet “The Firebird”. He was speaking about composer Igor Stravinsky. But his words would apply equally well to Krzysztof Urbanski, who conducted Stravinsky’s ballet during Prague Spring International Conducting Competition in May. He came out on top with this performance.
